一、考查目標(biāo)
全日制攻讀英語語言文學(xué)碩士學(xué)位入學(xué)考試科目《英語語言文學(xué)綜合考試》的考查內(nèi)容包括英美文學(xué)、英美文化及語言學(xué)三門英語語言文學(xué)專業(yè)的基礎(chǔ)課程，要求考生系統(tǒng)掌握相關(guān)學(xué)科的基本知識(shí)、基礎(chǔ)理論和基本方法，并能運(yùn)用相關(guān)理論和方法分析、解決實(shí)際問題。
二、考試形式與試卷結(jié)構(gòu)
（一）試卷成績及考試時(shí)間
本試卷滿分為150分，考試時(shí)間為180分鐘。
（二）答題方式
答題方式為閉卷、筆試。

英國文學(xué)部分的考察范圍分為英國文學(xué)史和英國文學(xué)作品選讀兩個(gè)部分。英國文學(xué)史部分主要考察考生對英國文學(xué)史各個(gè)階段及各階段中的重要作家基本情況的掌握。英國文學(xué)作品選讀部分考察考生對部分重要作家有代表性的部分作品的掌握。
